Swans on the Seine, 5 Dec 2006

It made me so happy to see these two swans calmly floating down the Seine like it was the most normal thing in the world to do. They were moving pretty quickly and when I used my flash I couldn't get the pretty background, so I had to turn my flash off and stop breathing so I wouldn't move my camera. They're slightly out of focus but I think the effect is still pretty cool. I'm glad I had my camera because nobody believed me when I told them. -- F.V.
