Sunday in Paris
Spent the day wandering along the Seine and around the Louvre. I was taken by the sea-gull approaching the Sun King (a re-cast statue put there by I.M. Pei to mark the end of the axis that runs through Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe). The Africans selling postcards always suprise me. Eventually I'll learn the name of that Scottie at the foot of the bookinistes, and discover what the half-hidden seller of old skin mags does behind his plastic curtain... Perhaps not what you think.
