Midsummer in Copenhagen, Denmark

We took a brief trip to Copenhagen this weekend to see relatives, and only realized after we'd arrived that it was the longest day of the year, with bonfires to mark the occasion. All of these photographs were taken after 3 p.m. and most were taken after dinner, between 11 pm and midnight.

Are those sand castles, and is that steeple a ziggurat?
Bicycle lights and bonfire, around 11 p.m.
